ABOUT LYNDA HULL

American poet and four-time Pushcart Prize recipient whose best-known works include Ghost Money and The Only World. She received both a Carl Sandburg Award and an Edwin Ford Piper Award for a 1991 poetry collection entitled Star Ledger.

She ran away from home at age sixteen, shortly after receiving a scholarship to Princeton University. She earned degrees years later from both the University of Arkansas and Johns Hopkins University.

She was killed in a car crash several months shy of her fortieth birthday.

Her husband, David Wojahn (also a poet), published her third collection of poetry, The Only World, after her death.

She was greatly influenced by the poetic work of Hart Crane .
