ABOUT MADIHA SHAH

Notable for her roles in such 1980s and '90s Pakistani films as Laat Sahib, Munda Kashmiri, and Zameen Asmaan, she also had a prolific stage acting career.

After briefly pursuing a career as a model, she made her on-screen debut in a teleplay titled Hari Bhari Chhaon.

She performed in a highly successful stage production titled Janam Janam Ki Meli Chadar.

Born Rubina Butt, she grew up in Lahore, Pakistan, as the daughter of Manwar Hussain Shah. She was briefly married during her teenage years; her second marriage began in 2015.

She is a contemporary of fellow Pakistani actress Saba Hameed .
