Rose to fame appearing in prominent roles on shows like Shameless , Mistresses, and The Mindy Project . She has also done voice acting for films like Monsters University and Walking with Dinosaurs.
Her career began to take off in 2009 when her parents took her to Los Angeles to take a number of intensive workshops. Shortly after she earned her first credit in an episode of The Young and the Restless .
In 2011, she became the writer and host of the series Influential Women of Hollywood.
Growing up, she traveled extensively with her mother, Marcia, for her mother's work in the fashion industry. Her father's name is James and she has a sister named Morgane.
While starring on The Mindy Project, she appeared as the younger sister of Chris Messina 's character Danny.
