ABOUT MAGGIE ESTEP
Poet and novelist of the grunge era who produced a spoken-word album entitled Love is a Dog from Hell. Her debut work in this genre, No More Mr. Nice Girl, was released in 1994.
Her literary career began its ascent in the early 1990s. In 1997, she published a novel called Diary of an Emotional Idiot.
She was featured on MTV's "Spoken Word Unplugged" program.
She was born and raised in New Jersey. She died at the age of fifty from a heart attack.
The music video of her spoken-word poem "Hey Baby" was featured on Beavis and Butthead, an animated program created by Mike Judge .
