ABOUT MAGGIE KEENAN-BOLGER

Playwright, actress, and sex educator known for the plays Her Train of Thought, Not Just Another Coming Out Story, and From the Inside, Out. Her work covers topics like self-harm and LGBTQ struggles.

She started acting at a very young age, appearing as a munchkin in a production of the Wizard of Oz. She attended Oberlin College, graduating with a double major in theatre and gender & woman's studies.

She's been a prominently featured voice in the LGBT community, which includes work with homeless youth, and was named a Person to Watch in 2015 by The Advocate. She appeared in a 2012 episode of The Good Wife as Pamela Wozniak.

Her siblings are Celia and Andrew Keenan-Bolger , who are also theatre actors.

Her LGBT activism earned her an invitation to the White House from Vice President Joe Biden .
