ABOUT MANUEL MAROUAN

French professional football player who is known for his work as a defender on the Basakeshir club. He is also known for having played as part of both Portugal's national team and Morocco's as well.

He first started his youth career with the AS Nancy club in 2004. He then switched to PSV in 2006 and began playing for Portugal's under 20 national team that same year. In 2013 he started playing with Sivasspor and in 2014 he joined the Morocco national team.

He scored his first international goal on March 27, 2018 in a match against Uzbekistan in a friendly.

He was born and raised in France to a Portuguese father and a Moroccan mother which allowed him to play for several national teams.

He joined the Olympiacos club in 2015 where he played alongside Marco Silva .
