ABOUT MARC OVERMARS

Soccer player best known for his position as a winger. He was renowned for his speed and abilities on the field. He became the director of soccer at Ajax, a Dutch professional soccer club, in 2012.

He was passionate about the sport at a young age and joined the Go Ahead Eagles' youth team in 1987.

While facing off against rival team Manchester United , he scored the winning goal and moved his team along to the Premier League.

Growing up, he worked on a farm with his mother, father, and grandfather.

He joined his team Arsenal while Arsene Wenger was the coach.
