She began doing voice overs at age 8 and acting on camera work at age 12. She attended the theatre department at LACHSA, The LA County High School for the Arts, and studied in London for a summer at RADA, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

She is also known for sharing videos of her impersonating celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston , Natalie Portman , and Sofía Vergara through her TikTok account marcellalentzpope that has gained over 700,000 followers.

Her father, Tony Pope, was known for being the voice of Disney's Goofy for 12 years and her mother, Pat Lentz, has narrated The Simpsons for over 20 years. She has two siblings, Melissa and Alex Pope. She is in a relationship with Aaron Pita.
