ABOUT MARCUS DAVENPORT

Defensive end who was selected with the 14th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints . He was previously a First Team All-Conference USA selection at the University of Texas at San Antonio .

He attended John Paul Stevens High School in San Antonio.

He was named 2017's Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year after recording 55 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

His parents are Ronnetta and Ron Davenport.

He joined a Saints defensive line which also included Cameron Jordan in 2018.
