ABOUT MARCUS INGVARTSEN

Danish forward who launched his professional soccer career with Superliga club FC Nordsjælland in 2012. In 2022, he joined Mainz 05 on a permanent transfer from Union Berlin. He made his debut for Denmark's senior national team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification tournament.

He played youth soccer with Farum BK.

He was the Danish Young Player of the Year for 2016. He was also a Danish Superliga Top Scorer for the 2016-17 season. He posts soccer and fitness updates on his marcusingvartsen Instagram page.

He has a son named Theo.

He and Aymen Barkok became teammates in 2022.
