ABOUT MARGHERITA RAGG
Writer and frequent traveler who co-created the blog The Crowded Planet with her husband Nick Burns. Their website focuses on nature and adventure with an eye on sustainability. One of her printed stories was a runner-up at the 2012 Guardian Travel Writer of the Year Competition.
She initially got the itch to travel after being given a flag book for her 5th birthday.
Her first trip together with Nick was to Cuba in 2005.
She and Nick spent their honeymoon in Greece and Turkey in 2007.
She made the leap to fame thanks to her travel blogs, just like Dan Moore .
