ABOUT MARIA HAUKAAS MITTET
Norwegian recording artist who is known for having participated in the Idol competition series during the 2004 season and for also having represented Norway at the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest. She is also known for her hit singles "Glorious", "Precious to Me", and "Killing Me Tenderly".
She first started gaining attention for her singing at the age of 11 when she was cast in a production of the musical Annie. She competed in Idol Norway in 2004 and went on to release her debut solo album in 2005.
She is known for having performed the official theme song "Glorious: for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in 2011 in Oslo, Norway.
While she was born in Finnsnes, she was raised on the island of Senja in Troms county.
Alexander Rybak is also a Norwegian singer who is known for having participated in the Eurovision Song Competition.
