She moved to New York City when she was 18years old to pursue a career in performing arts. She joined Instagram in May 2013.

She was crowned Miss Denmark in 2008. She went on to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2008 competition.

Her mother is Danish painter Nina Sten-Knudsen.

She has acted alongside Alan Ritchson , who played protagonist Jack Reacher.
