ABOUT MARIANNE JAMES
Opera performer turned television personality who has appeared in productions of Tatie Jambon, The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob, and Miss Carpenter. In 2022, she served as a guest judge on Drag Race France.
She co-founded her first music group, The Swingums, in 1980. As a student, she attended Sorbonne University.
She worked as a busking performer in Paris and also joined a band called Les Démones Loulou. She had the opportunity to cover the Eurovision Song Contest event from 2015 to 2017.
Her father Maurice was a pastry chef. Her mother's name is Jacqueline. She also has a sibling.
She covered Eurovision the year that Jamala took home the crown.
