ABOUT MARILYN HAMILTON

Famous for her urban research, this scholar and author published numerous books and papers, including Integral City: Evolutionary Intelligences in the Human Hive; The Quest: Four Questions That Can Release the Potential of Your City; and From Eco-Activist to Evo-Artist: Creating Natural Designs for a New World.

After earning a bachelor's degree in literature from the University of Toronto, she undertook additional coursework in French and accounting. Decades later, she obtained a doctorate in the evolving field of leadership within web communities.

She founded companies called TDG Global Learning Connections and Integral City Meshworks, Inc.

She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and she later taught at Royal Roads University in Colwood, British Columbia, Canada.

She and Alfred Kinsey pioneered research in their respective fields.
