ABOUT MARINA BENEDICT

Actress known for playing Cherry in the Fox series Gotham . She portrayed A&W in the Fox series Prison Break . Another significant role was as Toni Cannava in the Starz series Flesh and Bone. She had a lead role in the 2016 film Losing In Love.

At seven, she acted in the Peace Child's International Touring Company. At 15, she was accepted in a summer program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She attended the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington.

She was lead singer in BMG's pop group 5 NY that toured throughout Europe. With this group, she released the singles "Open Your Eyes" and "The Spirit."  She also appeared in series including Torchwood , Criminal Minds , Bones , Burn Notice and True Blood .

She married actor Marty Papazian in 2018. She has a son named River.

Her costars in Losing in Love included her husband, Shaun Duke , Mark Valley and Tristan Lake Leabu .
