ABOUT MARINA ANDREEVNA PUPENINA
Actress also known as Marina Aleksandrova who plays Marie of Hesse on Poor Nastya. She was a member of the Sovremennik Theater Company in Moscow from 2006 to 2011.
She joined the Shukin Theatre School under V.P. Nikolaenko in 1996.
Her first film was Weather Is Good on Deribasovskaya, It Rains Again on Brighton Beach in 1992.
Her father Andrei Pupenin served in the Soviet army and her mother was a professor at Herzen University. She has two children named Andrey and Ekaterina.
She played Catherine the Great in the 2014 Russian series Catherine.
