Actor who has made multiple appearances in Xena: Warrior Princess , Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and various Power Rangers roles.

Shortly after graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, he appeared in the TV series Sons and Daughters.

He has carried out hosting duties on Big Brother Australia and The Mole.

He was born in Melbourne but comes from a family of Scottish ancestry.

He has appeared in two roles in Peter Jackson 's epic Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
