Marko Simic

ABOUT MARKO SIMIC

Croatian professional football player known for his work as a forward and striker for the Persija Jakarta club within the Liga 1. He is also known for his work on the Croatian youth national teams as well.

His youth career began in 2001 when he started playing for the club Rijeka. He then transferred to NK Zagreb before starting his senior career for Daugava Daugavpils in 2008. In 2009, he started playing for Croatia's under 20 national team.

He has earned several honors and awards for his playing including the Indonesia President's Cup Top Goal Scorer and Best Player during the 2018 season.

He was born and raised in Rijeka, Croatia

He played alongside Bambang Pamungkas as part of the Persija Jakarta club during the 2018 season.
