ABOUT MARTIN DUBRAVKA

Goalkeeper known for playing with Newcastle United FC in the Premier League. He is also known for playing with the Slovakian national team. He is popular on Instagram and has over 160,000 followers.

He played ice hockey as a child but was injured when he was five years old.  He played with the soccer team Žilina at the youth level. He joined their senior squad in 2008.

He made his debut for the Slovakian senior national team in 2014. He played in the 2018 FIFA qualifying rounds. He also played at the UEFA Euro 2020.

He is from Žilina, Czechoslovakia. His father and grandfather were also goalkeepers.

He and Marek Hamsik have both played on the Slovakian national team.
