ABOUT MARVELOUS NAKAMBA

Zimbabwean defensive midfielder who kicked off his senior career with Bantu Rovers in 2010. He eventually made his way to the English Premier League club Luton Town after playing for Club Brugge and Aston Villa , among others. He debuted for Zimbabwe's main squad in a 2015 win against Malawi.

He played youth soccer for the Zimbabwean club Highlanders FC.

Fans voted him Aston Villa Player of the Month for November 2021. He shares moments from his soccer matches on his nakamba_marvelous Instagram account, where he has gained upwards of 130,000 followers.

His father was a goalkeeper for Hwange Colliery FC.

He and goalkeeper James Shea became teammates in 2023.
