Illustrator and lettering artist who has created art for clients including Target, Chronicle Books, Smucker's, and Macy's. Her books include Illustration Workshop and Every Day is Epic. She has earned more than 60,000 followers on her marykatemcdevitt Instagram account.

She attended Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She taught at her alma mater. She co-founded Okay Fine, a shared studio that hosted workshops and events. She likes to antique and explore the mountains of Vermont.

She and her husband adopted a cat named Peppy Mew Mew and a dog named Fritz.

She released a book titled What the World Needs Now Is Love, inspired by the Burt Bacharach song.
