She was a professional makeup artist before meeting Steve Harvey.

In December 2013, she was arrested after continuing to publicly speak about the divorce after violating a previous court order not to. She spent one month in jail.

She has children from previous marriages, but her son Wynton, born in 1997, is one she had with Steve.
