ABOUT MARY MACGREGOR
Pop singer who's 1976 single "Torn Between Two Lovers" shot to number one on the Canadian and U.S. Singles Charts. She later performed as a member of the bands Mary and the Blue Jays and The Mary Macgregor Band.
She was born in St. Paul and got her big break when she was invited to tour as a backup singer for Peter Yarrow .
She won the awards for Best Song and Best Performance at the World Popular Song Festival in 1980.
She has been married and divorced.
Her debut album featured contributions from keyboardist Barry Beckett .
