ABOUT MARY WEISS

Pop singer best known as the lead vocalist of the popular 60's band The Shangri-Las. She abandoned music for several decades before resurfacing in 2007 with the solo album Dangerous Game.

She went to her first concert, an Everly Brothers concert, at age fourteen in 1963.

Before re-discovering music in the 2000s, she worked for a prominent architectural firm. One of her most popular songs from Dangerous Game on Spotify is titled, "Stop And Think It Over."

She was inspired by listening to her brother and his friends perform songs by Elvis Presley .

She and The Shangri-Las collaborated with noted songwriter Jeff Barry , who wrote their song "Leader of the Pack".
