ABOUT MAT KEREKES
Singer and guitarist best known as the frontman for the rock band Citizen, as well as the hardcore punk band Power Wrench. In June 2015, he released his self-titled debut solo EP.
He grew up in Lambertville, Michigan. He joined Citizen in Toledo, Ohio in 2009 and signed with Run for Cover Records in 2012.
On the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, he played solo acoustic sets in addition to his performances with Citizen.
He released a split LP with his brother Chris Kerekes, titled Winter Split, in 2014.
He and Citizen performed with Circa Survive, led by frontman Anthony Green , at the Fashion Meets Music Festival in 2014.
