ABOUT MATEO JOSEPH

Professional center forward who was first signed by the English Premier League squad Leeds United FC as a teenager in 2022. In May 2023, he was selected to play for Team England during the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

He initially played for Racing de Santander as a child coming up. He then joined the Espanyol youth academy.

He made his professional club debut with Leeds while playing against the Wolverhampton Wanderers on November 9, 2022. Unfortunately, he lost his official debut match 1-0.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Santander, Spain as well as in England. He was born of Antiguan and Spanish descent.

He played alongside Liam Cooper as a member of Leeds United during the 2022-23 club season.
