Japanese actor known for his roles in the series, Hana Yori Dango and Liar Game.
He was born in Suginami to the actors, Yusaku Matsuda , who died when he was 4 years old and Miyuki Matsuda and started acting from a young age with his older brother.
He won a Japanese Academy Award in the Newcomer of the Year category in 2009 for his role in Ikigami.
His brother is actor, Ryuhei Matsuda.
He is a fellow Japanese television actor to Koji Seto .
