ABOUT MATT BURNETT
Writer who is known for his tenure working on the show Steven Universe. In 2013, he began working as a senior writer and story editor for the show.
In 2006, he received his first job in the entertainment industry when he voiced Simon in the short film She She She She's a Bombshell! He then served as an animator for the TV series Kappa Mikey for 21 episodes in 2007.
As a writer for Steven Universe, he developed the story for 49 episodes, and edited the chosen story for 55 episodes. In January 2016, he worked on his 75th episode for the show.
He was born and raised in New Jersey.
He has said that his singular vision for Steven Universe was to support Rebecca Sugar 's, as she created the show.
