ABOUT MATT FRACTION

Acclaimed comic book writer best known for his works Hawkeye, The Invincible Iron Man, and Uncanny X-Men among others. His work on The Invincible Iron Man led to a consulting opportunity for the film Iron Man 2.

He remembers Batman edition no. 316 to be the first comic he ever bought but learned to love Spider-Man as one of his favorites.

He is also notable for writing The Immortal Iron First, Casanova, and Sex Criminals.

He married and has two kids with Kelly Sue DeConnick, a fellow comic writer.

He shared the 2008 Eisner Award for Best New Series with cartoonist Ed Brubaker .
