ABOUT MATT GIBSON
World traveling writer, photographer, and social anthropologist who uses his blog, xpatmatt.com, to share his experiences from all over the world. He's also contributed to the Huffington Post.
In 1998, he attended The University of Victoria to pursue creative writing, but quit because he didn't see eye-to-eye with his teachers on the subject of art.
In 2004, he moved to southern Taiwan and began contributing to the Compass Magazine Group. A year later, he furthered his writing by launching Xpat Magazine.
He is a native Canadian who later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
He and Amanda Williams have both become known for blogging about their travels.
