ABOUT MATTEO GUENDOUZI

Midfielder who began his playing career with Arsenal FC in 2018 after spending 2016-2018 as part of Lorient B and Lorient. He played with France's U-18, U-19, and U-20 national teams.

He began his career at the academy of Paris Saint-Germain, but left them to join Lorient's academy in 2014.

In 2018, he was voted August Player of the Month by Arsenal fans for good performances in his early days with the club.

He is of partial Moroccan heritage. He was born in a suburb of Paris, France.

He became a teammate of Granit Xhaka upon joining Arsenal.
