ABOUT MATTHEW GRAY NELSON
Multi-Platinum-certified singer and recording artist who gained international success with his band, Nelson. He released three albums in 2010 with Lightning Strikes Twice, Before The Rain, and Perfect Storm.
He learned to play guitar, bass, and piano and met his mentor, Marc Tanner, in Los Angeles. Together they wrote the triple-Platinum-certified record, After the Rain.
He appeared in the film Of Love & Betrayal.
He was married to Yvette Nelson from 1995 to 2011. His siblings are named Gunnar, Tracy, and Sam Nelson. In 2013 he married Kari Ahlstrom and they welcomed a son named Ozzie Matthew in 2014.
His mother is actress Kristin Harmon and his father is Ricky Nelson .
