ABOUT MATTHEW SALLEE

A cappella singer who rocketed to fame in 2017 after joining Pentatonix on their holiday tour. He and his wife's ceremony was featured in People's magazine in 2022. He has performed on stage with artists such as Jessie J and Jill Scott .

Upon graduating he was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He was invited to join Pentatonix after the departure of Avi Kaplan in the summer of 2017.

Since joining Pentatonix, he has earned a significant social media following with more than 160,000 followers on Instagram alone.

He has an older brother named Ernest and a sister named Tamira. He proposed to Sarah Bishop on October 11, 2020. The couple was married in January 2022. They welcomed a daughter named Maliyah in August 2024.

He joined Kevin Olusola , Kirstin Maldonado , Mitch Grassi , and Scott Hoying in Pentatonix in 2017.
