Mauro Lainez

ABOUT MAURO LAINEZ

Left wing forward who has gained fame for his career playing in Mexico's top flight Liga MX, including for Lobos BUAP between 2018-2019. He would subsequently join Club Tijuana in 2019.

He played his youth career within Pachuca's youth academy. He would make his pro debut in 2016.

He played for Mexico's U-20 squad that won the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship title. He also played for the team at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

His younger brother is fellow professional soccer player Diego Lainez .

He played with his brother Diego within Pachuca's youth academy.
