American actress and comedian who is known for having a variety of guest appearances on shows such as Law & Order , the NBC Nightly News, and ABC's 20/20.

She made her television debut appearance on the soap opera As the World Turns . She then began her career in comedy and stand-up and in 2003. She also co-founded the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival.

She is known for being one of America's first Muslim women comedians as well as the first person ever to perform stand-up in Palestine and Jordan.

She was born and raised in New Jersey.

Her one-woman show Little American Whore was produced and directed by Kathy Najimy .
