He was working multiple jobs as a night watchman, at a fire alarm factory, and at a Pizza Hut to support his family while he began cultivating his musical career.
He was previously known under the pseudonym Digga, appearing on singles like "Gotta Have It" and "Take U There."
His full name is Anthony McLean. His father, John McLean, was a Lovers rock musician and his brother, Aaron, is a soccer player with Ebbsfleet United. He has a daughter.
In 2010, he released the collaborative single "I Made It" with fellow rapper Devlin .
