Theater, television, and film actress who became known to audiences as Margeurite from the film Ever After and also appeared in Sword of Honour and Love in a Cold Climate.

She studied for four years at the famed Julliard School and starred in Broadway productions.

She kissed Madonna in the play Up For Grabs.

She met Oliver Pearce, a fashion and advertising photographer who she later married, in 1997. Together they had a child.

She starred in a theater production of Shakespeare's As You Like It with Gwyneth Paltrow .
