Actress best known for playing Susanna Barnett in the series Jane the Virgin and Tessa Ross in the series American Gothic . She was also Deena Lampard in The Good Wife . She has made appearances in shows like Evil , The Affair , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Under the Dome .

She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated from New York University 's Tisch School of the Arts graduate acting program in 2011.

She was Detective Kate Lansing in Blue Bloods . She was in the 2013 film The Big Wedding . In 2019, she wrote, produced and performed in a short film titled Remind Me.

In 2018, she married Max Deacon. In 2022, she welcomed a son named Leon. Her father is trumpet player and jazz teacher Jim Ketch.

In season three of Blue Bloods, she replaced Jennifer Esposito 's character as the partner of Donnie Wahlberg 's Danny Reagan.
