ABOUT MELISSA NAVIA
Colombian-American actress who first caught the attention of critics and audiences with her leading role in the 2011 romantic comedy film Love Eterne. She went on to give an award-winning performance in the independent science fiction film The Paragon Cortex. More recently, she has portrayed Erica Ortegas in the television series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Her role in Love Eterne was her film debut.
She was named Best Actress at the 2013 Wild Rose Independent Film Festival for her performance in The Paragon Cortex. Her hobbies include playing the banjo and training in martial arts.
She has a younger sister named Soraya.
She worked alongside Bonnie Piesse on the cast of Love Eterne.
