ABOUT MICHAEL BARR
Vocalist best known as a founding member of the progressive metalcore band Volumes, whose albums Via (2011) and No Sleep (2014) topped iTunes' rock and metal charts. He departed from the band citing artistic differences in 2015 and released his debut EP as a solo artist, +1, in 2017.
He grew up in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
He covered Drake 's "Hold On, We're Going Home" for the compilation album Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6 (2014).
He has a daughter.
With Volumes, he toured in support of Crown the Empire, led by Andrew Velasquez , in 2014.
