Michael Cobley
ABOUT MICHAEL COBLEY
Known best for his Shadowkings trilogy and Humanity's Fire series, this British fantasy and science fiction writer also published a short story collection titled Iron Mosaic.
He graduated from the University of Strathclyde (in Glasgow, Scotland) with a degree in engineering. He published his first Shadowkings novel in 2001.
When not writing, he worked as a disc jockey and involved himself in liberal political causes.
Though born in Leicester, England, he spent the majority of his life in Glasgow, Scotland.
His 2005 work, Shadowmasque, received a British Fantasy Society Award nomination; however, the honor ultimately went to Neil Gaiman 's novel Anansi Boys.
