English character actor, best remembered as Lolaus in the television series, Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess.

He had his first small role in Prisoners (1981) at age twenty-four.

He had film roles in We're Here to Help (2007) and The Tattooist (2007).

He married Jennifer Ward-Lealand in 1988 and the couple has two sons.

He acted opposite Kevin Sorbo in more than seventy-five episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
