"Big" Pete Wrigley on the Nickelodeon sitcom The Adventures of Pete & Pete.

He studied filmmaking at State University of New York.

In 1999 he became popular through a series of TV ads for Ameritrade, playing a slacker employee helping his boss get on the internet.

He was born in New York, his father a firefighter and his mother a counselor.

He was suspended from high school for trying to set his guitar on fire in the halls, in imitation of Jimi Hendrix .
