His interest in films began at a young age, and his first writing credits are for short films in the early 2000's.
Watching Back to the Future as a child was an impactful experience for him. He worked as a coordinator at the Sundance Writing and Directing Labs, and witnessed the work of stars like Philip Seymour Hoffman and Taika Waititi .
He grew up in the suburbs of Massachusetts.
