ABOUT MICHAEL ACTON SMITH

Founder of entertainment company Mind Candy which launched Moshi Monsters in 2008, an online game where kids can raise their own virtual monsters. As of 2015 it has over 90 million users world wide.

In the late 1990's, while still in university, Smith co-founded online retailer Firebox.com, which quickly became a huge success.

Smith is known as a "rock star version of Willy Wonka" for his fun loving spirit, playing games like Ping Pong Fight Club with his employees.

He was born in Marlow, England.

English rocker Jason Perry is the head of Moshi Music, which overseers all music for the Moshi Monsters world.
