ABOUT MICHAEL WARTELLA
Broadway musical theatre performer who first became known as a replacement for Boq in Wicked in 2013. He would later play Hugo in the original cast of Tuck Everlasting and would originate Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
He was only seven years old when he watched Rocky Horror Picture Show. After seeing the film, he asked his parents if he could dress up as Frank-N-Furter for a party. It was his parents' first clue that he would become an actor.
In 2009, he made his film debut as Gibbz in Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet.
He and April Vidal have one son named Hunter.
He was joined in the cast of Broadway's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Christian Borle .
