British actress who played Betty in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, a 1970s BBC sitcom.

She appeared at age fourteen in a television miniseries version of The Old Curiosity Shop.

Her television credits include guest spots on Midsomer Murders, Holby City, and Doctors.

She married fellow actor Edward Wood ward , in 1987. Together, they had a daughter named Emily. Her mother, Kay Dotrice, was also an English Shakespearean actress, and Michele Dotrice's two sisters, Karen and Yvette, also pursued acting careers in film, television, and theatre.

Her father, Roy Dotrice , won a Tony Award for his role in the Broadway revival of A Moon for the Misbegotten.
