German singer whose single "Wer Liebe lebt" represented her home country in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest . She has released numerous successful albums including Wie Flammen im Wind and So was wie Liebe.
She started performing in local bands when she was 14 years old.
She has won multiple Echo, Goldene Stimmgabeln and Amadeus Austria Awards.
At 10 years old, she became a foster child. She has three daughters of her own.
Her and pop singer Lena Meyer-Landrut both represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest.
