ABOUT MICKEY REDMOND
Former NHL winger whose career spanned from 1967 to 1975. He became the color commentator for Detroit Red Wings games after retirement.
He began his career in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens in 1967.
He scored over 50 goals in back to back seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, 1973 and 1974.
His younger brother Dick was an NHL defenseman.
In the 1970-71 season he played with the legendary Gordie Howe on the Detroit Red Wings.
